How much does a garden room cost?
A bespoke garden room can be tailored to fit your budget. As a guide, prices typically range from £1,950 to £2,500 per square metre, depending on the size, design and materials used.
What is included in the price?
The price covers everything from the foundations to the green roof, including construction, finishes and an allowance for electrics. Electrics are quoted separately based on your specific requirements.
Do I need planning permission?
It depends on your location, for example if you live on a private estate or in a conservation area. In some cases planning is advised to allow a comfortable ceiling height. Decisions typically take 8–10 weeks.
Can you help with the planning application?
Yes. We manage the whole application with the local authority and guide you through each step. As a rough estimate, budget an additional £500–£850 depending on its complexity.
What materials do you use?
High-quality materials that contribute to a healthy living environment: responsibly sourced timber, natural stone, porcelain, clay brick, silicate render and lime binders and mortar.
How long will my project take?
It depends on size and complexity. A garden room typically takes 6–12 weeks to complete, while landscaping projects may take longer depending on their scope.
